HOI AN STREET FOOD TOUR

   The dishes on this tour are unique to Hoi An’s street food scene and either are not served or differ from those serveds in restaurants. This tour consists of two parts.

   Starting the tour, you will meet your local guide who will take you on a stroll through Hoi An’s pretty streets.You can then sample all the dishes included in the tour’s menu and visit the local market. Your guide will explain the ingredients of each dish and how the dish is made. Here, you will have a chance to meet some of the local people working in the market and ask them questions using some simple phrases in the local dialect which your guide will have shared at the start of the tour. Along the way there will be many interesting photo opportunities.

   For the second part of the tour, your guide will take you to an air conditioned restaurant to cool down and enjoy a ‘tasting menu’ including more than fifty five dishes, many of which you will have seen during your tour of the market and in the street stalls. Your guide will share with you some stories about the traditional customs and festivals as well as the daily life of the local people related to the dishes you will taste. We recommend customers start this tour with an empty stomach! At the end of the tour, there will be no need for lunch as you will be full of so much delicious food. Although many of the dishes include meat or seafood, this tour is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with advance notice required.
